Visual Studio 2012 crashes when I click notes tab

New PC, windows 7, installed VS2012 and witcustomcontrols and had no issues at first. A couple of days in, middle of the day, no updates that I can see even automatic updates, if I click the notes tab on any work item or change request, Visual Studio crashes with message that Visual Studio 2012 has stopped working and it restarts. I don't see anything in Devenv /log related to the crash, only see this in Windows application logs. This is just the top of the stack but you see WitCustomControls. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled witcustomcontrols, didn't crash after uninstalling but of course got different error when clicking notes tab. Once reinstalled, same crash... Application: devenv.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException Stack: at System.Windows.Forms.ListView+SelectedIndexCollection.get_Item(Int32) at WitCustomControls.Notes.NotesControl.txtNoteDetailsAndtxtSubject_Enter(System.Object, System.EventArgs)

Update to prior update, that was just random timing. I still have the issue as to others. We click Notes tab and Visual Studio 2012 crashes and restarts. It occasionally will work which is all that happened after my above dart tosses. Anyone else have this issue?

Ok, so after battling this for a week and finally posting for help, i threw a dart and enabled TFS Administrators Toolkit for VS2012 and for some reason it works now. I also resorted to installed VS2010 so that's in the middle of an install so perhaps something there helped as well but for now I appear out of the woods.
