WitCustomControls2013-1.2.2.0 doesn't work with TFS 2017 Update 1

Hello, We had WitCustomControls2013-1.2.2.0 installed onto our production TFS three years ago. At that time the TFS version was TFS 2013. Recently we upgraded the TFS instance from TFS 2017 RTM to TFS 2017 Update 1. Right after the upgrade we started having issues of WI. The workitem pages are unable to display anything yet. The errors are pointing to CodePlex.WitCustomControls.MultiValueControl. I saw there were some other discussions in the forum that the latest WitCustomControl version 1.3.2.5 doesn't work well with TFS 2017 U1. Please advise how we should do the multivaluecontrol extension upgraded and make it compatible with TFS 2017 U1. Thank you!
