The application acts as an interface for searching for addresses as well as a search extension via Windows Phone App Connect. The ultimate goal is to take places on a map and store them in your contact list with the GPS coordinates encoded in the name. The contacts are then synced to the Pioneer navigation system via Bluetooth and allow for turn-by-turn directions without having to enter the destination into the head unit manually. The advantage of this is the mapping programs on phones access live data while the database on the head unit is stale and gets out of date very quickly. This application is privately developed and not associated with the Pioneer Corporation in any way.
